WELCOME!

I am so excited to get to know all of the children in room 9 this year!

A Little Bit About Me:

I have been teaching Juniors for 8 years (phew...time really does fly by) and I love it! 

The best thing about younger children is that they are so eager to learn and they soak up loads of information in such a short period of time. 

As well as being a Classroom Teacher I am also the Team Leader of Te Moana, which enables me to get to know all of the children in Years 0-2.

I have an 11 year old son, who has been kind enough to donate a lot of his toys to the classroom which we will use a lot during Discovery on a Friday.

I get to know all of my students as individuals and aim to make learning a fun and exciting journey that we can all be a part of.

Dexter

We have a VERY SPECIAL addition to room 9 this year...

Dexter is an English Cocker Spaniel. 

He will be at school everyday.

As he grows the children in room 9 will get to see him change and be involved in his training and daily routines.

 He is a very friendly dog who especially likes being around children.
