Discovery

Discovery
Every Friday Te Moana takes part in Discovery. Every classroom from room 9 to room 15 has an array of creative activities that children can take part in. Students can choose where they want to go and are able to move between the classes at their own pace.

This Term Students are learning to...
  • share
  • take turns
  • respond to greetings and farewells
  • follow clean up routines
  • play with others
Here are some photos showing all the fabulous things that we get up to:

Friday 3rd March
We made 'colour-scopes'
First we decorated a cardboard cylinder, then we covered one end with cellophane using a rubber band to hold it in place.
When we looked through our 'colour-scopes' everything was colourful!

We used a lot of different materials to make a collage!

We did some colouring in! We have learnt to colour inside the lines!
